Though small, The Alpenhof offers all the comforts of a full-service, upscale hotel. A European style Breakfast Buffet is served to all our guests. The Alpenrose Dining Room features Fondue and other specialties of Switzerland and the Alps while the Bistro serves a casual bar menu. Complete bar service is available with an extensive wine list and microbrew beers. Guests will enjoy our outdoor heated pool and hot tub. We have a dry sauna and offer spa services.

All Alpenhof rooms are furnished with beautiful, hand crafted Bavarian furniture. Down comforters and plush robes enhance the cozy feel. Perched atop East Gros Ventre Butte, Amangani's unique location offers panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks around Grand Teton National Park. The alpine Teton Village, where Amangani's private Ski Lounge is located, is a 20-minute complimentary transfer from the resort.

Its roof, crafted of cedar shakes, flows like a natural outcropping. Amangani makes extensive use of Oklahoma sandstone and Pacific redwood. Amangani offers 29 Suites, these air-conditioned suites include a bedroom/living room and a spacious bathroom/dressing room. The living area consists of a king-size platform bed and a fireplace. Furnishings include a redwood-frame day bed for lounging, a black resin-and-terrazzo dining table, woven cowhide chairs in faux wolf fabric and a pine-stump table. The suites also offer a mini-bar, a CD player, a TV/VCR and a two-line phone with data plug-in. Living-area walls are decorated with back-lit cedar planks. Sliding glass doors lead to a deck, with mountain and valley views.

A deep soaking tub with a window view highlights the large bathroom/dressing area and the twin vanities and shower room are trimmed in slate. Double dressing areas include a full-length mirror, as well as drawers, shelves and open closet space for two. The floor is of clear-heart redwood.

On the Teewinot or South side there is a ground floor skiers entry, ski storage area and outdoor hot tub. On this level is also the Junior Master Suite with either a queen or king bed (varies by property). Upstairs one level (garage level on the street side) includes the main living space for the home. The living room features a large, rock, wood-burning fireplace, a wet bar, entertainment center and custom furnishings throughout. Dramatic mountain views can be enjoyed from many locations throughout the 3-level Granite Ridge Lodges. The floorplan is open to the dining room and kitchen allowing a spacious great room for everyone to congregate in.

The dining table will easily accommodate 8 and the breakfast bar at the end of the kitchen can take care of any overflow. This spectacular kitchen has it all! Starting with the Thermodor® 6-burner gas range, granite countertops, large island with additional sink, microwave/oven combination, custom cabinetry and finally the oversize Sub Zero® refrigerator. A powder room is conveniently located adjacent to the living room. The second bedroom and full bath is also on this level.

At the top of the stairs to the third level is an open study-type area that may have additional bedding, but varies by property. Beyond the study going one direction is the Master Suite. This room is incredible and offers a second rock fireplace (gas burning), a king bed, outside deck space, high beamed ceilings and a huge walk-in closet. The master bath is very spacious and beautiful.

It contains a double vanity, large shower (some units offer a steam shower), oversize bathtub, separate water closet and heated floors! Going the other direction from the loft leads you to the final, fourth bedroom (queen or twins). This room enjoys a small deck facing the inner courtyard of the Granite Ridge Lodges and an adjoining full bath. A garage is available for guest use.
